Apple Watch Ultra can withstand immersion deeper than promised 40 meters

Bloggers continue to subject the Apple Watch Ultra to more and more tests. Yesterday they dropped it on the floor, put it in a jar of nails, and even hit it with a hammer. Now a DC Rainmaker Channel writer has tried to drown them.

According to Apple, their new watch has enhanced protection - including against water - and can be submerged up to 130 feet (40 meters) deep. The author of the new experiment created a pressure in a special chamber higher than what happens at a depth of 40 meters, then placed the watch there.

The watch survived the experiment without any problems. When the depth of 40 meters was exceeded, the watch alarmed and stopped showing the exact value.

The specifications of the Apple Watch Ultra actually give them the ability to dive to a depth of 100 meters, but no one has yet arranged such an experiment.
