Morrowind Rebirth 6.0: Global mod for Morrowind received an update

September 9, 2022  16:44

Morrowind Rebirth mod, which makes the 20-year-old game The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind look more like modern games, recently received an update: version 6.0 will bring a lot of new content and fixes to the game!

11 years ago modder Johan Rosen started working on Morrowind Rebirth. Morrowind is a very atmospheric game, but its graphics looks outdated today (the game was released in 2002 – a whole eternity ago), while the mod not only fixes some problems and bugs in the game but also improves graphics, making it more familiar to the eye of the modern gamer. The mod also adds new content to the game - enemies, weapons, armor, spells, and even locations.

Here are some of the changes that appear in version 6.0:

  • The Deadlands includes landscape changes and other improvements that will make the location more ominous.
  • Expanded interiors;
  • New weapons and armor, including magical ones;
  • New models and textures added;
  • New spells;
  • Changes in Balmora, Vivec, Seyda Neen, and Suran;
  • Additional weapons and armor, including orc weapons and throwing darts;
  • Changes to the game balance;
  • Dead non-player characters no longer disappear if they have valuable items on them.
