Apple has published the European energy label for its foldable iPhone Duo smartphone, revealing its battery capacity and claimed battery life. The device is equipped with a 4,883 mAh battery split into two cells. According to official data, a single charge lasts for 51 hours and 30 minutes under standardized testing, gsmarena.com reports.

The battery is rated for at least 1,000 charge cycles

According to Apple’s energy label, the iPhone Duo battery remains functional for at least 1,000 charge cycles under standard settings. This is an indicator of the battery’s durability, not a guarantee that it will fully retain its original capacity after that many cycles.

The stated 51 hours and 30 minutes should also not be taken as guaranteed runtime under normal use. Actual battery life depends on workload, screen brightness, network connectivity, and other conditions.

The same battery for all markets

The iPhone Duo is available with eSIM only in all countries, so the battery capacity is expected to be the same across all regional versions of the smartphone.

Pre-orders for the device opened last week, and sales and shipments are expected to begin later this week. The battery details appeared in Apple’s official documentation ahead of the start of sales.
