Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is preparing to launch a new sub-brand called Jovi. This name has been used by the company before - under it was released branded AI-assistant Vivo. This is reported by the publication GSMArena.
According to data found in the GSMA (GSM Association) database, the Jovi launch lineup will include at least three new devices: Jovi V50 with model number V2427, Jovi V50 Lite 5G with model number V2440 and Jovi Y39 5G with model number V2444.
Interestingly, the Jovi V50 and the upcoming Vivo V50 share the same model number, similar is the case with the Jovi V50 Lite 5G and Vivo V50 Lite 5G. This could indicate that Vivo smartphones will be released under the Jovi brand, where Vivo is not yet present for some reason.
“However, it's worth remembering that Vivo's plans may change. On the other hand, the GSMA database is usually a very reliable source,” GSMArena writes.
Vivo Communication Technology is a Chinese company that is one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world.
