The foldable Xiaomi 18 Fold unexpectedly took first place in AnTuTu’s ranking of the most powerful smartphones for October 2026. The device, powered by Xiaomi’s proprietary XRING O3 processor, outperformed flagships based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, including the iQOO 16 and HONOR Magic9 Pro Max.
Top three in the ranking
The Xiaomi 18 Fold with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage scored 4,620,886 points in AnTuTu. Second place went to the iQOO 16, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, with a result of 4,449,925 points.
HONOR Magic9 Pro Max, running on the same Qualcomm chip, rounded out the top three. Its score reached 4,435,489 points.
As a result, the gap between first and second place exceeded 170,000 points. Xiaomi’s result is especially notable because the smartphone uses the company’s own processor rather than a Qualcomm chip.
Top 10 most powerful smartphones
According to the published AnTuTu ranking, the top ten for October looks like this:
1. Xiaomi 18 Fold
2. iQOO 16
3. HONOR Magic9 Pro Max
4. Xiaomi 18 Pro Max
5. OPPO Find X10 Pro Max
6. RedMagic 11S Pro+
7. iQOO 15 Ultra
8. HONOR WIN
9. Xiaomi 18 Pro
10. realme GT8 Pro
The top ten includes three Xiaomi models, including the chart leader. Devices from iQOO, HONOR, OPPO, RedMagic, and realme are also represented.
At the same time, AnTuTu scores reflect synthetic benchmark results rather than a universal assessment of a smartphone. The final score is influenced by the processor, graphics subsystem, memory, and software optimization. In real-world use, performance also depends on cooling, workload duration, and specific applications.
Therefore, Xiaomi 18 Fold’s leadership in the benchmark does not by itself mean that it will be the best smartphone in terms of battery life, camera quality, or ease of use.
