Anker has introduced the new Anker Solix S2000 portable power station, combining high capacity, relatively compact dimensions, and modern features designed for long-term use.
The new model is positioned as a versatile solution for home backup power, travel, and off-grid operation.
Capacity and design
The Anker Solix S2000 features a 2010 Wh battery — nearly twice the capacity of many portable stations in a similar form factor.
At the same time, the device measures 20 × 28 × 32 cm and weighs 16.2 kg. According to the manufacturer, the model is lighter not only than the previous Anker Solix C2000 Gen 2, but also than most competitors with comparable capacity.
The station uses durable lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. The company claims a lifespan of up to 10,000 charge-discharge cycles while retaining at least 60% of the original capacity. That corresponds to roughly 15 years of regular use.
Energy efficiency and power output
One of the device’s key advantages is its extremely low standby power consumption of under 6 watts. This is significantly lower than the average for devices in this category and makes the station well suited for long-term backup power scenarios.
The output power is rated at 1.5 kW, with support for short peak loads of up to 3 kW.
Charging from a wall outlet supports up to 1.6 kW, while solar charging supports up to 400 W.
Ports and usability
The Anker Solix S2000 includes:
- five AC outlets;
- several USB ports, including USB-C with 100 W Power Delivery support;
- a built-in information display.
To reduce both weight and size, the manufacturer removed the traditional 12-volt automotive socket.
Price and availability
Official sales are scheduled to begin on June 2, 2026.
As part of the U.S. preorder campaign, the device is being offered for $600. The recommended retail price without promotions is $1,200.
