1. IBM
IBM has been a leader in information technology since the 1950s. The company's main product is IBM Watson. It is an AI-based cognitive service, AI software as a service and scalable systems designed to provide cloud-based analytics and AI services. IBM's portfolio of business-ready tools, applications and solutions is designed to reduce costs and barriers to AI adoption while optimizing results and using AI responsibly. Watson is used by 70% of the world's banking institutions, and 13 of the top 14 systems integrators use Watson.
As of September 30, 2022, the company had $60.5 billion in revenue.
2. Meta Platforms
Meta Platforms develops AI for augmented and virtual reality technologies and social media. It has several AI initiatives ranging from AI for near-natural interactions in virtual reality environments to AI detectors to identify malicious content.
Founded in 2004, the company has a long history of working with artificial intelligence tools, using technology to match people, products and content. Meta recently announced an AI supercomputer that can handle hundreds of languages, develop augmented reality tools and pave the way for metaverse.
The company's projected revenue for 2022 is $30-32.5 billion.
3. Salesforce
Salesforce is developing AI for customer relationship management (CRM) based on its Einstein AI engine. Founded in 1999, the company has become almost synonymous with CRM and uses AI for almost every task. In 2016, the company launched Salesforce Einstein as "artificial intelligence for all" and continues to develop the technology with ethical considerations. In 2021, Salesforce unveiled its AI ethics model.
In 2022, the company generated $30.2 billion in revenue.
4. Amazon Web Services
Amazon Web Services is a leader in cloud-based data services. The company offers both consumer and business AI products and services, and many of its professional AI services are based on the AI services available in consumer products.
The company owns Alexa, an AI-powered virtual assistant. One of Amazon Web Services' products is Lex, the business version of Alexa. The company also has other AI-based products, such as Polly, which converts text to speech, and Recognition, an image recognition service.
The company runs an artificial intelligence innovation contest with prizes of up to $500,000.
According to the data of the 3rd quarter of 2022, the company had revenues of $20.5 billion.
5. C3.ai
C3.ai is the world's leading provider of enterprise AI. Founded in 2009, the company aims to support and accelerate digital transformation with its C3 AI Suite product, a comprehensive coded platform for developing, deploying and operating large-scale AI applications.
The C3 AI Suite platform provides comprehensive services for building enterprise-scale AI applications more efficiently and cost-effectively than alternative approaches. It also supports the value chain in any industry with pre-built, customizable, valuable AI applications for reliability, fraud detection, sensor network operability, supply chain optimization, energy management, anti-money laundering and customer interaction.
