January 5, 2023  14:47

As in previous years, smartphone companies offered a number of new products to users throughout the year in 2022. The large selection of smartphones on the market makes it even more difficult to choose a phone, because people just cannot decide which one is best or which phone suits them best. Of course, there are a few things you should definitely consider when buying a phone. The Verge magazine has chosen five of the best smartphones of 2022, which we present below.

1. iPhone 14 Pro և Pro Max

The magazine notes that Apple's iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are the best smartphones of 2022 that, on a budget, you can buy without thinking for a second. Both have features the standard iPhone 14 doesn't have (like Dynamic Island). The 14 Pro has a 6.1-inch display and the Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display. Both are ProMotion screens with 120Hz refresh rates. In addition, both display the time, date, notifications even in "sleep" state, and there is no need to "wake" the screen. The iPhone 14 Pro has a 48-megapixel camera that takes great photos. Both models use the A16 Bionic chip. The iPhone 14 Pro costs $999 (U.S.) and the iPhone 14 Pro Max costs $1,044. The Google Pixel 7 Pro has an updated Google Tensor G2 chipset, has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (8/256, 12/128, 12/256, 12/512 options are also available), lithium-ion 5000 mph, price: $899.

3. Apple iPhone 13

The Apple iPhone 13 smartphone is ranked third by The Verge magazine. The magazine notes that the iPhone 13 does almost everything the iPhone 14 does, and costs $100 less ($699). And the iPhone 14 has so few advantages that many people prefer to continue using their iPhone 13 rather than buy the iPhone 14. The phone has 4GB of RAM, 6.1-inch screen: Super Retina XDR OLED (no ProMotion), A15 Bionic chipset, battery: 3240 mph lithium-ion. Read about the iPhone 13 and its sales here.
