More than 30 Samsung smartphones and tablets will not receive Android 15 and One UI 7.0 updates, GizmoChina website reports.

According to the source, the update is not intended for the following models:

  • Galaxy S20 FE
  • Older S-series phones

(Galaxy Z series)

  • Galaxy Z Fold 2
  • Galaxy Z Flip 2
  • Older Z-series phones

(Galaxy Tab series)

  • Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021)
  • Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
  • Galaxy Tab S7 FE
  • Older Tablets launched before 2021

(Galaxy A series)

  • Galaxy A72
  • Galaxy A52
  • Galaxy A52 5G
  • Galaxy A52s 5G
  • Galaxy A32
  • Galaxy A32 5G

The website notes that this is not an official list, as Samsung has yet to reveal its roadmap for upcoming updates. GizmoChina's information about Android 15 and One UI 7.0 is based on Samsung's update policy for its devices.

Samsung provides updates for its flagship devices for an average of four years. However, the company has already announced that the new Galaxy S24 series will receive updates for seven years. Flagship tablets receive updates for four years, Galaxy A and F smartphones for two years, but some models in this series can also receive updates for four years.
