WhatsApp will get AI function: What will it do?

Meta Corporation has released a new beta version of the WhatsApp messenger for iOS, the main feature of which is the integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the support department. The neural network will answer the questions of users who have encountered difficulties with the use of the messenger, WABetaInforeports.

The introduction of the new feature does not mean that users will stop interacting with the technical support staff altogether. AI will call for human help if it cannot solve the client's problem, or if the client asks the program about it.

The new feature aims to help users resolve issues even when support staff are busy and unable to respond quickly. Artificial intelligence will also help reduce the overall workload of the help service and the time it takes for human assistants to respond.

Currently, AI assistnant is available in beta version of WhatsApp for iOS with version 24.3.10.71. Previously, this AI feature appeared in the beta version of Messenger for Android, number 2.24.4.3. It is not known when this neural network technical support feature will be available to the general public.

Earlier it became known that the version of WhatsApp intended for iPhone will receive Passkey technology, a more secure method of identification compared to passwords.
