What is known about AI functions of Samsung smartphones?

Samsung is actively developing One UI 6.1 firmware, which will introduce new features based on artificial intelligence. According to Android Authority, screenshots confirming some of these features have leaked online.

One of the new features is the ability to create wallpapers using neural networks: users will be able to configure parameters for creating wallpapers by specifying text queries, after which artificial intelligence will generate an image according to the user's preferences. A similar feature was previously introduced for Google Pixel 8 series smartphones.

An improved photo editor with AI functions is also expected, allowing you to move objects between images and change the borders of a photo.

The Notes app is expected to have a feature for summarizing long text entries. In addition, Samsung smartphones will receive real-time voice call translation, improved sound quality and optimized battery charging.

One UI 6.1 beta testing is currently running for the Samsung Galaxy S23, and the new Galaxy S24 will be among the first to receive this firmware in early 2024. It is not yet known which other phones will receive this firmware.
