Best smartphones in three price categories

The FRAndroid portal presented its ranking of the best smartphones of 2023, highlighting three prizes in different price categories.

The flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra received the title of the best smartphone of 2023. The device amazes with its technical characteristics, including an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, a high-quality 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. Particular attention is paid to the high-quality camera, S-Pen support and long battery life. The publication considers the only drawback of the Galaxy S23 Ultra to be its high cost.

The winner in the best value for money category was the Samsung Galaxy A54. The device offers a high-quality screen, long battery life and four years of software updates. The main disadvantage is the slow charging of 25 W.

Redmi Note 12 5G has been voted the best budget smartphone of 2023. It features an excellent OLED display, fairly high performance for its segment and outstanding battery life. The “capricious” MIUI firmware is considered the main drawback of the device.
