The base iPhone 15 smartphones will be the first in the series to get a USB-C connector, but it's rumored to be USB 2.0 compliant, meaning data transfer speeds will be slow.

However, at least with the Pro models, the situation may be different. Photos of the Thunderbolt cable appeared on the Internet, which, according to an insider named Majin Bu, Apple is supposedly going to release for other models of the new series.

The cable has both USB4 Gen2 and Thunderbolt support and can transfer up to 150W of power, allowing the new iPhones to be able to transfer data at speeds of up to 20Gb/s.

The cable is quite thick as you can see from the photos and is reportedly up to 70cm long. Support for USB4 and Thunderbolt will allow Apple, if desired, to endow new iPhones with various functions that are not available to smartphones of previous generations.

Insider Majin Bu, who shared this information, previously leaked the exact details of the iPad mini, iPhone 12 colors and other devices before their official unveiling.

The presentation of iPhone 15 is scheduled for September. Foxconn has already started the production of iPhone 15 in India, and before that it has already become known that Apple has decided to produce less iPhone 15. In addition, it is known that the iPhone 15 will receive the fastest charging in the history of Apple smartphones.
