The well-known manufacturer of rugged devices, Blackview, has introduced the new ultra-durable smartphone BL9000 Pro. This innovation is not only reliably protected against mechanical damage and adverse environmental effects but also equipped with a 2.4K resolution screen with variable refresh rate, a thermal imager, a large-capacity battery, and supports operation in fifth-generation (5G) communication networks.

Developers equipped the BL9000 Pro with a 6.78-inch IPS display supporting a resolution of 2460×1080 pixels and a dynamic refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel used provides a display of 16.7 million color shades and a peak brightness of 600 cd/m². The display is TUV SUD certified, confirming a low level of harmful blue light for the eyes and absence of flickering. Corning Gorilla Glass protects the screen from mechanical damage.

At the top of the display is a 50-megapixel front camera. On the back of the case, there is a dual main camera. It combines a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor with optical image stabilization support with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Video recording in 4K format is supported.

The performance of the BL9000 Pro is handled by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor (four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz). Mali-G77 accelerator is provided for graphics processing. The configuration is complemented by 12 GB of RAM and a 512 GB storage. Autonomous operation is ensured by an 8800 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 120 W.

The smartphone can operate at ambient temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. It is resistant to falls from a height of up to 1.2 m (MIL-STD-810H standard protection) and immersion in water up to a depth of 1.5 m (IP68 and IP69K standards protection). The screen can be operated with gloves. The design includes an NFC chip, and dual SIM card installation is supported. The latest thermal imager is available, providing high-quality imaging.

The device runs on Android 14 with the proprietary interface DokeOS 4.0. The Blackview BL9000 Pro smartphone is already available for purchase, with an approximate cost of 565 USD.
