HUAWEI continues to experiment with form factors and is preparing a smartphone that could stand out from conventional flagships. According to insiders, this is a classic bar-type device with a non-standard wide screen, inspired by the design of the foldable Pura X.

Unusual proportions

According to information published by Digital Chat Station, the new device will feature a display with a 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio. This format will make the smartphone noticeably wider than most modern models, which could have a positive impact on convenience when watching videos, working with documents, and multitasking. At the same time, the device will not be foldable — it is a fully-fledged "brick" with a flat body.

Key specifications

According to preliminary data, the smartphone will be equipped with a flagship 9th-generation Kirin processor, which will provide high performance and energy efficiency. One of its main features will be a battery with a capacity of over 7000 mAh — one of the highest figures among premium devices in 2026.

The camera setup looks equally interesting. The main module will feature a 50 MP sensor with a 1/1.3-inch matrix size, which should ensure good detail and image quality in low light conditions. It will be assisted by a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens for high-quality optical zoom, as well as a multispectral sensor, which HUAWEI traditionally uses to improve color reproduction and image processing accuracy.
