The SamInsider resource has published the specifications of the future budget Samsung Galaxy A16 smartphone. It is not known exactly when the presentation of the smartphone will be, but all the parameters have already been revealed.
Galaxy A16 will be presented in two versions: 4G/LTE (catalog number SM-A166x) and 5G (SM-A165x). The 5G version will be built on the Samsung Exynos 1330 SoC, while the LTE version will use a MediaTek SoC. This is their only difference.
Smartphones will receive a Super AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, Full HD+ resolution and a speed of 90 Hz, a 13 megapixel front camera and a main one with 50, 5 and 2 megapixel sensors, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory (in the base version), Bluetooth 5.3 adapter, NFC chip, 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support, as well as dust and water protection according to the IP54 standard.
Interestingly, the package will not include a charging pad. It was reported earlier that smartphones will receive Android updates for 6 years.
According to one of the European retailers, the price of the Galaxy A16 4G will be 210 euros, and the Galaxy A16 5G will be 240 euros.
