Reputable insider Ice Universe has publicized a detailed rendering—i.e., visualization—of the iPhone 15 Pro Max based on data in a previously leaked CAD file.

From the published photos, it becomes clear that the size of the iPhone 15 Pro Max will differ from its predecessor; both the height and width of this smartphone will be smaller. At the same time, the novelty will be 0.4 mm thicker than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Apparently, the iPhone 15 Pro Max's camera unit will be less protruding; it will be 0.59 mm smaller than the iPhone 14 Pro Max's camera unit. In addition, it is clear from the photos that the edges of this smartphone will become curved. It is expected that thanks to this, the device will be more comfortable to hold.

Notably, the volume and power buttons are missing in the aforesaid photos. Perhaps the iPhone 15 Pro, as previously reported, will indeed get touch buttons.

The official launch of the iPhone 15 series of smartphones is expected to take place in September.

Earlier, the website 9to5Mac had publicized exclusive visualizations of the iPhone 15 Pro smartphone, which were based on the drawings of 3D artist Ian Zelbo. It was seen from these photos that some significant design changes are planned for Apple's flagship smartphone.

Perhaps the most notable change was the switch from the Lightning connector to the more popular and mainstream USB-C. The Lightning connector has been used in most iPhone and Apple accessories since 2012.

Another change was the curvature of the edges on both the glass and the metal frame. The glass is slightly curved around the edges, providing a smoother transition to the frame, which is also more curved than before; thanks to this, holding this smartphone can become more comfortable.

Visualizations released at the time also confirmed that the rear camera bump was thicker than the previous model, leading media outlets to speculate that Apple might be updating the camera system. The camera layout was the same as the iPhone 14 Pro, with three lenses and LiDAR arranged in a square module.

The drawings on which the visualizations were based are provided by Apple to plants in Asia to make smartphone cases; this is necessary so that the accessories are already available when the device is released.
