In particular, he noted that before selling a personal smartphone, you should log out of all user accounts and delete all data from the device.

He reminded that the smartphone can contain important files, secret notes and dangerous photos, so it is important to transfer all the information to another device so that the data does not become available to third parties.

According to the expert, the best option would be to reset the device after transferring all important data to another device.

In addition, before selling it is important to make sure that there is no SIM card left in the smartphone.

"You should not transfer the SIM card with the device, as your personal accounts may be associated with it. It should be removed from the device," said Ulyanov.
