WhatsApp receives new feature related to artificial intelligence

The popular WhatsApp messenger will receive a new feature related to artificial intelligence: a chatbot like ChatGPT will be built into the search inside the messenger. The chatbot is called Ask Meta AI, and users of the beta version of the application are already testing it.

According to the WABetaInfo portal, recently users of the beta version of WhatsApp for Android number 2.24.7.14 discovered in the search bar interface inside the messenger the ability to access the built-in chat bot and ask questions directly in the search bar.

The developers plan to add several hints to the search bar that will help users and activate the AI. By entering questions or commands into the search bar, users can quickly start a conversation with the neural network.

It is not yet known when the AI chatbot will appear in the main versions of the application.

Let us remind you that the beta version of WhatsApp for Android (2.24.6.13) recently introduced features that allow users to pin up to five chats in the general chat list, create stickers directly from a photo in a chat, and format text more easily. Android users will soon also be able to choose which third-party apps can communicate with Messenger.
