WhatsApp developers want to make it easier to create stickers in the messenger. In one of the versions of WhatsApp, a function has been found designed to create stickers directly from a photo in a chat, reports the WABetaInfo portal.

According to the source, a sticker editor has been found in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android with code number 2.24.6.5, which can turn any image into a sticker.

To do this, you simply need to open a photo, click on the Options command, which looks like three vertical dots, then select the Create Stickers command from the drop-down menu. The user will be prompted to immediately save the sticker or edit it, after which it can be sent to any chat.

According to WABetaInfo, this approach will greatly facilitate and speed up the creation of stickers.

This feature was previously available to testers of WhatsApp for iOS. It can now be used by some beta testers on Android. It is still unknown when the full version of the messenger with a sticker editor will be released, working on all platforms.

Recently it became known that WhatsApp is developing a new feature that will allow Android users to choose which third-party applications can communicate with this messenger.

WhatsApp also recently introduced new text formatting features that allow you to structure your text, highlight quotes, and other types of text formatting.
