Another contender for the title of "best camera phone" in the world

Earlier NEWS.am Tech reported that Huawei Mate 50 Pro could become the best camera phone in the world. DXOMARK tested the smartphone's camera and took first place in the world ranking with 149 points.

DXOMARK's staff describe themselves as experts in evaluating image, screen, sound and battery quality, with the Honor Magic4 Ultimate and Google Pixel 7 Pro smartphones coming in second and third in their rankings, both scoring 147 points each. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, with 146 points each, ranked fourth and fifth.

Testing the Huawei Mate 50 Pro, which took first place, showed that thanks to a combination of quality hardware and careful software tuning, the smartphone's camera has excellent capabilities. It can shoot high-quality photos and videos in all lighting conditions, and it really stands out among its competitors for its low-light performance.

The Huawei Mate 50 Pro has three cameras:

- 50 MP, f/1.4-f/4.0, 24 mm (wide), PDAF, laser AF, OIS

- 64 MP, f/3.5, 90 mm (periscopic telephoto lens), PDAF, OIS, 3.5x optical zoom

- 13MP, f/2.2, 13mm, 120˚ (super wide), PDAF
