Apple has already started production of new iPad Pro and MacBook Air: When will they go on sale?

According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple has already commenced mass production of the updated versions of its flagship iPad Pro and MacBook Air laptops, featuring the proprietary Apple M3 processor. It is anticipated that both devices will be officially unveiled to the public at the end of March.

In Gurman's earlier reports, it was stated that in March of this year, Apple will introduce a new iPad Pro with an OLED display, an improved iPad Air, a 12.9-inch iPad Air, and a new generation of 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air models with M3 processors. Considering that Apple did not release any new tablets last year, it is expected that the entire lineup of devices will be refreshed in 2024, with the iPad Pro and iPad Air being released in March.

It was also previously reported that the launch of the iPad Pro will be accompanied by the release of new accessories, such as the Magic Keyboard with an aluminum casing. Mentions in the iOS 17.4 code indicate that the iPad Pro will feature a front camera with landscape orientation. However, the most notable innovation will be the introduction of OLED displays, enabling Apple's tablets to display a brighter and more contrast-rich image, along with some improvement in terms of battery life.

As for the new MacBook Air models, no significant design changes are expected. Instead, Apple will equip the laptops with M3 chips, which made their debut last year in the 14-inch MacBook Pro. It is assumed that the manufacturer will simultaneously update the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air models with M3 chips, despite the fact that versions of these laptops with the M2 processor were released on the market with a one-year difference.
