The social network X (formerly known as Twitter) has a new feature: it allows users to control the visibility of their likes. Previously, each "like" was located on the user's page under the "Likes" tab, but now users can hide them from the public.

Elon Musk, the head of X, as well as Tesla and SpaceX, announced the new function.

“You can now hide your likes, but I recommend keeping them open and just using bookmarks for interesting posts,” he wrote on his page on X.

Musk also informed that in the future, the X social network will have audio and video calling functions that will be available on various platforms, including iOS, Android, and computers, including Apple devices. In this case, users will not need to know the subscriber's phone number to make a call.

Recently, the X social network also launched a new service called X Hiring, which allows posting job ads on the page. It provides new opportunities to search for new employees within the platform. That is right, the service is only available to companies and organizations that have an X Premium subscription, and it costs $1,000 a month. Accounts with this subscription are distinguished by a gold check mark.

For now, the feature is working in beta version. To use it, you will need to submit an application.
