Zuckerberg gives Musk ultimatum about their expected fight, says he is not serious

Meta company co-founder Mark Zuckerberg has called on entrepreneur, X—former Twitter—owner Elon Musk to set a fight date as soon as possible, or to call it off altogether. In a post on the Threads social media platform owned by Meta, Zuckerberg also stated that Musk is not serious.

Zuckerberg said that he proposed to Musk a specific date for the fight, and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president boss Dana White said he was ready to organize this bout. Also, he recalled that Musk did not confirm the date of the fight, and later said that he needed a surgery. The co-founder of Meta concluded that Musk "isn't serious" about holding a cage fight and "it's time to move on."

“If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I'm going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously," Zuckerberg said.

On August 11, Musk announced that his fight with Zuckerberg will not be organized by the UFC, but by the funds of billionaires. Also, he assured that the fight will take place in an "epic location" against the backdrop of ancient Rome.
Later, Zuckerberg hinted that Musk's announcement about holding this fight against the backdrop of ancient Rome was made without his or his representatives' approval.

The history of this expected bout between Musk and Zuckerberg began in June when Musk wrote that he wanted to fight with Zuckerberg, and the latter accepted the challenge. The conflict between the two billionaires was caused by the fact that Zuckerberg's Meta company created Threads, an analogue of the X social media platform owned by Musk. After that, they started negotiations on holding a fight. Elon Musk even told how he is preparing for a fight with Zuckerberg. Also, there were reports that the fight would be broadcast live on X.
