Famous businessman and Twitter owner Elon Musk plans to change the logo of the platform: the letter X will replace the famous bird. The businessman announced this on his social network page.

“And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds” Mask wrote on Twitter.

The new logo is the letter X on a black background. The logo is expected to change today.

Musk later made several posts on the subject, also writing that while he likes Twitter's old logo, it will be replaced with an X anyway. He also wrote that "X.com now redirects to https://twitter.com/." It can also be concluded from his publications that the blue color of the platform may also be changed to black.

Musk bought Twitter in October of last year and since then he has changed a lot on this platform. In particular, he introduced the possibility of paid verification, unblocked a number of users, including former US President Donald Trump, restructured the company and made many layoffs. Recently, it has also banned viewing of Twitter posts without logging into the platform and has introduced restrictions on viewing posts for free accounts.

Musk's innovations receive mixed reactions: not all users approve of the businessman's ideas and decisions. It's no coincidence that Twitter’s traffic began to decline after Meta launched rival social platform Threads.
