Realme has announced the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition (RE) in China, the most affordable smartphone in the world equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The new product has powerful hardware, a high-quality display, and a capacious battery, while offering one of the lowest prices in its segment.

Display

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen from BOE with a resolution of 2780 × 1264 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a record peak brightness of 6000 nits.

Performance

The device is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, supplemented by 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a UFS 4.1 drive with a capacity of 256 or 512 GB.

Cameras

Realme GT 7 Pro RE has a dual main camera:

  • 50 MP main module with Sony IMX906 sensor
  • 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens

Battery and protection

The smartphone is equipped with a 6500 mAh battery with support for 120 W fast charging, as well as bypass charging. The case complies with IP68 and IP69 standards, which provides protection from dust and water.

Price and availability

Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition went on sale in China at a price of 3099 yuan (about 425 dollars). Official plans for the release of the model on the international market have not yet been announced.
