The Nubia Z70 Ultra will be presented on November 21, but the company has already revealed the characteristics of the Z70 Ultra screen, which has become the first in the industry in several parameters at once.
The Z70 Ultra will have a 6.85-inch screen with an effective area of 95.3%. For comparison, the screen of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra occupies 88.5% of the front surface of the smartphone.
The smartphone will feature the industry’s first 1.5K display with an under-display camera, the first notch-free display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and the first notch-free display with a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, which provides excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. For comparison, the recently launched iQOO 13’s screen brightness reaches 1800 nits, which is considered the world’s highest.
In addition, the smartphone will offer a pixel density of 430 PPI around the selfie camera located inside the screen. The under-display front camera technology is powered by Nubia’s own AI 7.0 algorithm, which will help the camera maintain clarity while remaining hidden under the screen.
Finally, the phone will have a narrow black frame that is only 1.25 mm wide.
