The names of two unreleased Macs appeared in the November database of the Steam video game service, which includes software and hardware for users of the service. MacRumors portal drew media attention to this fact.

The computers in question have the identifiers "Mac14.6" and "Mac15.4. According to the source, because they have appeared in Steam database, it is possible that Apple engineers are now testing the performance capabilities of these computers in games.
