Sharp company has presented the flagship smartphone Sharp Aquos R9 pro, which has quite interesting characteristics and will go on sale in December.

Sharp Aquos R9 pro is equipped with three 50.3 MP cameras, the Vario-Summicron camera system was developed by Leica.

The camera system now includes a 65mm (f/2.6) telephoto lens that offers 2.8x optical zoom and can reach up to 20x digital zoom. It relies on a fairly large 1/1.56-inch optical sensor with Dolby Vision support for video recording. The lens has optical image stabilization (OIS).

Sharp Aquos R9 pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage. The 6.7-inch QHD+ display (1440 x 3120 pixels) is a Pro IGZO OLED panel with a variable refresh rate of 1Hz to 240Hz. Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is installed on the screen.

The phone runs on Android 14 operating system. It will get up to 3 OS updates and 5 more years of security fixes. The phone has IP68 protection, Wi-Fi 7(be) and Bluetooth 5.4. It is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. The price will be about 1200 dollars.
