The editors of the Russian "Palac" website compiled the top five smartphones that can be bought instead of the flagship iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The first smartphone on the list is the Honor Magic6 Pro, priced at 90,000 rubles (about $930) in Russia, which offers a 6.8-inch OLED display with 5000 nits of brightness, a flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 50MP selfie camera and a triple camera system with 50, 180 and 50 MP sensors. The smartphone has a large 5600mAh battery with 80W wired and 66W wireless fast charging, as well as water and dust protection according to the IP68 standard.
The second place was taken by Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with a price of 89,400 rubles (about $925). It has a titanium body, a 120Hz AMOLED display, an improved Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The main camera is represented by a 200 MP module, which is complemented by 10, 50 and 12 MP point sensors. Among other things, the smartphone has a built-in S-Pen stylus and Galaxy AI system.
Huawei Pura 70 Ultra was also included in the top three, which can be purchased for 98,600 rubles (about $1,020). The smartphone tops the DxOMark phone camera rating. the triple camera with 50, 50 and 40 MP sensors helps in this. Among other things, there is a 6.8-inch OLED screen with 1.5K dots and a maximum brightness of 2500 nits, a proprietary Kirin 9010 chip that is weaker than the competition during games, a 5200mAh battery and 100W fast charging.
Rounding out the lineup are the flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, priced at 104,900 (about $1,085) and 104,300 rubles (about $1,080), respectively.
