The website iPhones.ru has compiled a selection of 10 current models of iPhone smartphones that are worth considering for purchase in the fall of 2024, as well as models that you should not pay attention to.
Noteworthy models include the iPhone 13 mini, which is suitable for those looking for a compact device. This model will receive iOS updates for at least three more years. iPhone 13 is a good and reliable basic smartphone for its price (50,000 rubles in the Russian Federation, about $535).
Experts also recommend considering the iPhone 13 Pro: the 256 GB version sells for an average of 70,000 rubles (about $750) in Russia and is the most affordable model with a 120 Hz screen. The two-year-old model, iPhone 14 Pro, offers a more powerful hardware that is suitable for everyday tasks and heavy games.
Among the newer models, it is recommended to buy the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro smartphones. The basic model, which is offered for an average of 70,000 rubles, is equipped with modern equipment, a good screen, a USB-C connector and a 48 MP camera, but has a 60 Hz screen, which is considered a drawback.
The flagship iPhone 15 Pro Max does not have this drawback and also offers a third camera, a telephoto lens, a more powerful chip and support for the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence system.
Experts also noted the models that are not worth considering. Specifically, they recommend avoiding the iPhone SE (2020), iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and Max. These devices will be among the first to stop receiving updates and have already been discontinued.
Experts also advise not to consider the iPhone SE (2022), because the design of this smartphone is considered outdated, as well as the iPhone 14, which is more expensive than the iPhone 13, although it does not differ much from it.
