The HMD Barbie Phone flip phone has passed certification by the Chinese regulator TENAA, revealing the device's specifications and photos, reports GSMArena.

The button phone is being developed by HMD in collaboration with Mattel. The device will feature an external 1.77-inch TFT display with a resolution of 128x160 pixels and a main 2.8-inch screen with a resolution of 240x320 pixels. A 0.3 MP camera is installed on the back panel, above the external screen.

The phone's performance will be powered by an unspecified processor with a clock speed of 1 GHz, along with 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded with a microSD card. It is expected that the HMD Barbie Phone will run on the S30+ or KaiOS operating system.

Other features include 4G support, Bluetooth, a 1450 mAh battery, and the device's dimensions and weight—108x55x18.9 mm and 123 grams, respectively.

Based on the available specifications, the HMD Barbie Phone appears to be a rebranded version of the Nokia 2660 Flip. The release date and price of the new model have not yet been disclosed.
