The official presentation of the Huawei Nova Flip foldable smartphone will take place on August 5, but well-known insider Digital Chat Station has already revealed the smartphone's specifications.

It features an internal OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.94 inches, a resolution of 2690 x 1136 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The external screen is a 2.14-inch OLED with a 60 Hz resolution.

The hardware platform is based on the proprietary SoC Kirin 9. The front camera has a resolution of 32 MP, while the main camera includes sensors with resolutions of 50, 8, and 2 MP. The battery capacity is 4400 mAh, and with 66-watt charging support, it will charge very quickly. The RAM will be 12 GB, and the internal flash memory will be available in 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB options.

The Huawei Nova Flip will come in two external designs: one with a glass back panel and one with a leather-like panel. Accordingly, the thickness and weight in the first case will be 15.08/6.88 mm (folded/unfolded) and 195 grams, and in the second case, 15.12/6.9 mm and 199 grams. Prices have not yet been announced, but the Nova series devices are traditionally cheaper than Huawei's flagship smartphones.

Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of the Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12.
