Huawei is expected to launch its first mass-produced foldable smartphone with two hinges later this year. New details have emerged about it.

Firstly, the device's unfolded screen will be approximately 10 inches diagonally, making it a potential tablet replacement. The display will fold in a way that one-third of it remains accessible on the outside, possibly serving as an external screen when folded.

Insiders Digital Chat Station and Ice Universe claim that Huawei will have no competitors in this space anytime soon. Creating such a device requires making its parts exceptionally thin, an area where Huawei has already succeeded with its foldable devices, unlike Samsung, which has yet to achieve similar advancements.

Ice Universe was the first to highlight trends such as waterfall displays on smartphones, the notch on the iPhone X, the new design of the iPhone 14, and Samsung's 200-megapixel image sensor. Digital Chat Station also previously revealed specifications and release dates for models like the Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10, and Mi 11.
