Motorola is coming back? Company shows flagship smartphone with wooden case (photo)

We haven't heard much news about Motorola in recent years. Now the company seems to have decided to regain its rightful place in the smartphone market and introduced its new flagship device Edge 50 Ultra with a stylish design and a number of high-tech features.

One of the features of this device is its body with a wooden back cover, which gives it an exclusive and unique look. But there is also an option with a leather cover. The body of the smartphone itself is made of aluminum, which gives it strength and reliability. Additionally, the device is protected from dust and water in accordance with the IP68 standard.

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch OLED display with curved edges, a high resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz and a brightness of up to 2500 nits, delivering clear and vibrant images. HDR10+ is also supported. The screen is protected from damage by tempered Gorilla Glass Victus.

Inside the device is a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of internal UFS 4.0 storage, which ensures smooth and fast performance in any conditions.

The smartphone is equipped with a triple camera, including a 50 MP main lens, a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 50 MP sensor on the front for high-quality selfies.

The 4,500mAh battery supports 125W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging for long battery life without the need for frequent recharging.

Other features of the device include support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a UWB module, a USB 3.2 port with DisplayPort 1.4 support, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for high-quality sound.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is available in Europe for €999.
