Powerful battery, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, IP54, 120 Hz: Oppo introduces it’s new Oppo K12 smartphone, priced at $260

The company Oppo has introduced a new smartphone with a focus on autonomy: the Oppo K12 is equipped with a 5500 mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging. The company claims a battery life of up to 1.88 days, and in standby mode, it can last up to 17.28 days. However, with active usage, such as gaming, the battery will drain much faster – in just 8.76 hours.

The Oppo K12 smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1100 cd/m². The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen. The front camera is embedded in the screen and features a 16-megapixel sensor.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, with cooling provided by a relatively large vapor chamber measuring 4129 mm².

The main camera consists of two sensors: a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, and an additional 8-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens.

It runs on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 interface. The smartphone is equipped with stereo speakers, a powerful vibration motor, multi-mode NFC, and an IR emitter. The device has a thickness of 8.37mm and weighs 186 grams.
