The market has not seen such screens yet: New OnePlus smartphones will have brightest screen in the world

OnePlus has officially announced a collaboration with BOE to "jointly take smartphone screens to a new level."

According to insights from Digital Chat Station, the new OnePlus smartphone with a 2K display is expected to achieve a peak brightness of 3000 cd/m². The 1.5K screen, which will be featured in later models, is anticipated to have an even higher brightness level.

Previously, reports suggested that the OnePlus 12 would feature a curved screen measuring 6.82 inches diagonally, with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels and support for an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The top-tier version is slated to come with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. However, it was previously reported that its brightness would reach 2600 cd/m².

The primary camera of the OnePlus 12 will house a 1/1.4-inch Sony IMX966 optical sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). It will also be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens featuring a 64MP OV64B sensor.

The smartphone is expected to feature a 5400mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Digital Chat Station, known for its precise leaks, previously revealed the specifications and release dates of Redmi K60 and Xiaomi 13, further establishing its credibility in the world of mobile innovations.

Xiaomi previously announced that it plans to release a flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which will have the brightest screen on the market at the moment and will have a power of 3000 nits.
