The OnePlus company introduced the new Rain Water Touch technology to be used in the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone, thanks to which the phone will be able to recognize screen touches even during heavy rain. As The Verge informs, according to the results of the conducted test, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro won iPhone 14 Pro.

Thanks to this innovation, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro stands out from its competitors in the smartphone market, including flagships from Apple and Samsung, which have a hard time recognizing touches on the touchscreen in the rain.

To demonstrate the advantage of this technology, OnePlus published a video comparing how the screens of the Ace 2 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro react in the rain.

It is clear from the video that the iPhone 14 Pro cannot respond normally to touches, while the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro continues to work without problems. Apparently, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro smartphone will also receive water protection.

It is noted that to get this effect, a special chip and algorithm are used, which determine the position and force of finger pressure on the screen. More details about the technology will be told at the presentation of OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which will take place on August 16.
