Instagram will launch its own AI chatbot to help with writing posts

With the growing popularity of generative neural networks and chatbots, more and more companies are trying to integrate them into their products. Instagram may join them soon. According to reports, this social network may soon integrate its own chatbot that can be chatted with.

Engineer Alessandro Paluzzi posted a screenshot on his Twitter page showing an artificial intelligence chatbot that can answer users' questions and give them advice. According to the engineer, the bot will receive personalized settings: users of the platform will be able to customize it according to their preferences.

Instagram's chatbot can be useful for people who find it difficult to write text messages that accompany photos on their own. It is also believed that the algorithm can be used during conversations with other users.

It is not yet known when the chatbot based on generative neural network may appear on Instagram. There have been no official announcements about it yet. Recently, however, Mark Zuckerberg, the head of Meta Platforms, which owns Instagram, announced that the company is developing artificial intelligence algorithms for Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp.

Recently, Instagram has made it possible to reply to posts with GIF images. Another innovation of the social network is the chat function called Channels.
