Assassin's Creed fans have been dreaming for a long time about the action of the game in Japan. Their dreams will finally come true. The teaser revealed during Ubisoft Forward confirmed that Assassin's Creed: Codename Red game will take us to feudal Japan!

Assassin's Creed: Codename Red teaser

In the 30-second teaser, we were shown a bright sunset over the forests and atmospheric castles, and a ninja armed with a hidden blade and a Japanese short sword that landed on a tiled roof.

The teaser didn't show us anything else, and there's not much information about the new game yet.

What is known about Assassin's Creed: Codename Red?

We know that the game is being developed by Ubisoft Quebec, and this will satisfy many fans because these developers were also responsible for several other successful games in the series: Brotherhood, Revelations, Black Flag, Rogue, Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.

The game will take place in an open world.

There is no information about which era Ubisoft is going to focus on, but many fans think that Edo, Osaka, and Kyoto in the Tokugawa era will fit perfectly into this great Assassin series.

There is no information about Assassin's Creed: Codename Red release date. But if Assassins Creed Mirage will be released in the spring or summer of 2023, then it is unlikely that Codename Red will be released before 2024.
