The region's largest technology exhibition DigiTech 2022 and a conference of the same name will be held March 10-12 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan. Some 120 companies and more than 60,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises reports.

"As the largest industry union, UATE also claims to organize the largest programs. DigiTech will traditionally showcase the region's technology trends and summarize the best accomplishments. We are looking forward to seeing the world's leading technology experts at the conference. March will be hot," said Alexander Yesayan, President of the Youth and Sports Union.

Accordindg to Hayk Chobanyan, executive director of the Armenian TechnoCommunity, the exhibition will be different in its scope, including the entire sports and concert complex. There will be clear zones: the sponsors section, the exhibition area proper, startups, educational organizations and projects, and the green technology zone.

“There will also be entertainment zones for visitors and participants, zones for networking and work. We expect significant international participation. Armenia's new technology brand will be represented by DigiTech. Everything has been done to make the Sport-Concert Complex a gathering place for the Armenian tech community these days," said Hayk Chobanyan.

The DigiTech Conference will consist of a series of panel discussions and will feature the participation and exchange of quality experience of leading entrepreneurs, managers and researchers, as well as academia. This year’s speakers include Razmik Hovaghimian (Graph Ventures), Suvi Linden (Former Minister of Transport and Communications of Finland), Nir Chinsky (Regional Managing Director, Google Cloud), Pierre Hennes (Granatus Ventures), Davit Baghdasaryan (Krisp), Anu Nurma (Estonian Research Council), Tony Safoyan (SADA Systems), and Andrei Zdravkovic (AMD), as well as a number of other industry leaders from around the world.

The topic of the DigiTech 2022 conference discussions is "The Ambitious Tent. The Sustainability of Open Economies in an Increasingly Unstable World."

"Starting with WCIT2019, UATE set a concrete objective to turn DigiTec Summit into an international tech conference taking place in Armenia. We are happy to report that DigiTec 2022 continues to deliver on that promise with both content that is globally relevant, and speakers representing more than 10 countries and multiple continents," said Raffi Kassarjian, conference president.

The exhibition is traditionally free of charge for visitors. This year, optional online registration will be launched. Surprises await those registered.

Tickets for the conference can be purchased on the official DigiTech 2022 website. Admission is free for students if they register before February 26. You can always keep track of program updates and the list of speakers on the official website and Facebook page.

The event is organized by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises.
