The largest event in Armenia to promote science and technology, Science Week Armenia 2025, will be held from September 30 to October 5 under the slogan “Advance with science.”

This year, the festival aims to bring together more than 50,000 visitors and engage about 300 schools and kindergartens—with decentralized events in the capital Yerevan and all provinces of Armenia.

But the “heart” of this event will be the Science Festival to be held at Freedom Square in downtown Yerevan, and it will present the interconnected world of science, technology, engineering, science fiction, and art for six days.

Leading representatives of state, academic, educational, technological, and creative organizations of Armenia will attend the festival.

Thematic sections

. Advance with science (Sept. 30-Oct. 1) – Stories of practical application of science and innovation, scientific experiments, projects, and exhibitions by scientific institutes operating in Armenia.

. Why become a scientist and engineer? (Oct. 2-3) – Professional orientation days with the participation of universities, educational and innovation organizations, scientific institutes, laboratories, and innovators.

. Expanding the imagination (Oct. 4-5) – A combination of science fiction and art: literature, cinema, comics, games, and futuristic projects.

In parallel with the festival, scientific experiments, games, projects, and exhibitions will be held in schools and kindergartens of all provinces of Armenia that will register and join “Science Week Armenia.” The package of events for schools and kindergartens has been specially developed by “Science Week Armenia.” The objective of this initiative is to instill interest and love for science, technology, and engineering from an early age.

Science Week Armenia is organized by the Gituzh Initiative, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, the Yerevan Municipality, and the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. The main sponsor of the event is YoHealth, the technology partner is Team Telecom Armenia, and the innovation partner is Ameriabank.
