Apple is set to raise the prices of its flagship iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max smartphones in 2026. This decision is due to the use of new processors that will cost more than previous models, reports PhoneArena. 

PhoneArena's sources claim that in 2028, Apple will first release smartphones based on dual-nanometer A20 Pro chips. These processors will cost 70% more than current processors, increasing their price from $50 to $85.

Experts speculate that this will lead to higher prices for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max compared to their predecessors. At the same time, Apple plans to keep the base iPhone 18 models based on processors created using the three-nanometer process and not increase their cost.

The new processors should provide faster performance and improved power efficiency. However, some experts doubt that the A20 Pro will be significantly different from Apple's current chips.
