The new iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will not only become more autonomous, but will also charge faster. According to information from the founder of Angry Miao, a company that produces accessories for gadgets, the future Apple flagships will support fast wired charging with a power of 40 W and wireless MagSafe charging with a power of 20 W.

For comparison, the current iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models offer only 27 W of wired and 15 W of wireless charging. Thus, the new models will show a noticeable increase in charging power. Although this is still not comparable to the performance of even inexpensive models from Xiaomi, Vivo and other Chinese brands, 40 W is already a significant improvement for Apple devices.

The new products are also credited with more capacious batteries compared to their predecessors. The iPhone 16 Pro model is rumored to have a 3577 mAh battery, which is 9.25% larger than the iPhone 15 Pro battery (3274 mAh). And the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 4676 mAh battery, which is 5.74% larger than the iPhone 15 Pro Max (4422 mAh).

Let us remind you that the official announcement of the new iPhones will take place in a week - on September 9.
