Tecno has unveiled a concept of a new three-fold smartphone Phantom Ultimate 2, which has a 10-inch screen when open.

According to GSMArena, Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 offers a screen area comparable to full-size tablets. When folded, the diagonal of the LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1620x2880 pixels and an aspect ratio of 4:3 is 6.48 inches.

The thickness of the device when folded is only 11 mm thanks to the proprietary double hinge, which is designed for 300,000 folds.

This hinge helps minimize the crease at the fold of the screen. Tecno offers several options for using the Phantom Ultimate 2, including a laptop mode, where the bottom half folds into a keyboard, and a "tent" mode, which allows you to use two equal parts of the screen, for example, to translate a conversation between two interlocutors. The 10-inch screen also supports multitasking, which allows you to run three or more applications simultaneously for convenient work.

Information about the release date and price of the device has not yet been announced.
