Realme has introduced a new budget smartphone in the Narzo N series. The manufacturer has focused on the durability of the new device. The Realme Narzo N61 features a metal body with a metal frame constructed from aluminum. The screen is protected by reinforced glass. The device also water and dust resistance according to the IP54 standard.
The Realme Narzo N61 is equipped with a 6.74-inch LCD with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of up to 560 nits. According to the manufacturer, the touchscreen responds even to wet fingers, and using the device in the rain will not harm it.
At the top of the screen, there is a 5-megapixel front camera, along with the Realme Mini Capsule 2.0 UI element that displays key information. The back panel features a primary 32MP camera capable of recording 1080p video. There are two lenses on the rear panel, but Realme does not provide the specifications for the second module.
The Narzo N61 is powered by a Unisoc T612 SoC. This 6nm chip includes two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, as well as a Mali G57 GPU. It comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM (expandable via storage), and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card that can replace one of the two SIM cards.
The smartphone has a 5000mAh battery, which, according to the company, can retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 1000 charge cycles. Charging is done through a USB-C port at a low power of 10W. The device weighs 187g and has a thickness of 7.84mm.
The Realme Narzo N61 will initially be available in the Indian market at a price of 7500 rupees (around $90) for the 4GB/64GB version and 8500 rupees (around $100) for the 6GB/128GB version, in blue and black colors.
