Vivo recently introduced the new budget smartphone Y18i to the Indian market. The model offers all the essential features at an extremely low price, reports GizmoChina.

The Y18i is equipped with a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 528 nits. A unique feature of this phone is its 90 Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling compared to standard 60 Hz displays.

Inside the Y18i is a Unisoc T612 processor, commonly used in budget phones. It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. If that's not enough, the memory can be expanded using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 14 with Vivo's FuntouchOS 14 overlay.

The Y18i features a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel main sensor and an additional ToF camera. There is also a 5 MP front camera for selfies.

The new device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. The phone's body is relatively thin and light, measuring 163.63 x 75.58 x 8.39 mm and weighing 185 g.

The device is already available for purchase in India at a price of 8,000 rupees (about $95).
