Overheating of smartphones becomes more relevant especially in hot weather, and users are constantly faced with the problem of how to solve this issue. The famous Russian blogger Valentin Petukhov (known as Wylsacom) presented some tips on how to quickly cool down an overheated smartphone in the summer.
"Unfortunately, the problem of smartphones overheating in the sun has existed for several years. And overheating in general. So I have to reassure you right away: no, this is not a defect," he wrote, responding to one of the subscribers.
First of all, the blogger advised to abandon cases so that the smartphone does not heat up to an uncomfortable temperature. According to him, the heat dissipates better without the case. According to Petukhov, eschewing cases is most important when performing CPU- and battery-intensive tasks, such as video recording.
“Second, use the 'power saver' mode when the phone is in standby mode. It will not download content from the Internet, the frequency of the processor will decrease, so it will be easier for him," said Petukhov.
If overheating has already occurred, the blogger advises to turn off the smartphone. According to him, literally a few minutes will be enough for the device to freeze. Apart from that, according to him, it will not be bad if something cool is placed on the smartphone.
“When you're hot, what do you do? That's right, you cool yourself either outside (with air conditioning) or inside (water with ice). We won't go inside the phone, but any cool surface outside will be helpful. Even putting it in ice, even though it is radical, is a workable solution," he wrote.
