The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises of Armenia (UATE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Chamber of Commerce National Committee Armenia (ICC NCA) to collaborate on the 2024 World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT2024/DigiTec) and support Congress's greater involvement.
Sargis Karapetyan, CEO of UATE, and Raffy Semerdjian Secretary General, of the ICC NC Armenia, formalized the MoU to combine efforts to bring together international business and partnership networks to benefit WCIT2024/DigiTec's organizational activities.
"The International Chamber of Commerce National Committee Armenia is doing tremendous work in the field, and we are very pleased to have the unique opportunity to collaborate for the high-level execution of WCIT2024/DigiTec,"-said Hayk Karapetyan, Executive Director of the Organizing Committee of WCIT2024//DigiTec.
From October 4–7, 2024, the Karen Demirtchian Complex in Yerevan will host WCIT2024/DigiTec, providing a global platform to magnify the influence of information technology under the theme "THE POWER OF MIND: AI Beyond Limits, Within Ethics." The Congress will emphasize the importance of applied sciences, investments, and technological presence across diverse regions and economies.

The four-day event will feature a high-level program, B2B meetings, the WITSA World Cup (WWC) for scaleups, innovation exhibits, business presentations, workshops, and more. It aims to attract thousands of local and international delegates with an extensive agenda catering to a wide range of stakeholders. Attendees will have the chance to explore cutting-edge solutions, best practices, and the latest global ICT developments through interactive seminars and special panel discussions.

WCIT2024//DigiTec will survey as a global platform, which aims to:
- Strengthen the impact of information technology, raising awareness about innovations and the latest developments in AI,
- Represent Armenia on international platforms and position it as a new technological hub for the region,
- Promote investments and highlight the importance of ICT solutions in various regions and economies,
- Showcase the technological potential of Armenia, and beyond, within the framework of the DigiTec Expo, which will serve as the main expo platform for WCIT2024/DigiTec.
The conference agenda includes participants from a wide geographic area, with more than 2,000 international delegates expected to visit Armenia during the event.
