The Chinese company Nubia presented two versions of the new gaming smartphone: Red Magic 8S Pro and Red Magic 8S Pro+. The phones have impressive specifications, and the Pro+ version is the first smartphone in the world to have 24GB of RAM.
First, this smartphone is the most powerful model based on Qualcomm SoC in the world. It uses the flagship version of the SoC Snapdragon 8 with a super-core frequency of 3.36 GHz, which, combined with a serious cooling system, scored an impressive performance on the AnTuTu rating platform, scoring 1.71 million points.
The second feature of this phone is 24GB physical RAM. Earlier, a Digital Chat Station insider assured that more models with this amount of RAM will be released soon, but the Red Magic 8S Pro is the first to be released. The Pro+ version of the smartphone also has 1 TB of built-in memory.
Red Magic 8S Pro has a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2480x1116 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The maximum brightness is 1300 cd/m, the regulation frequency of wide-pulse modulation is 1440 Hz. The screen provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The fingerprint scanner is the seventh generation and is placed under the screen. It also allows you to determine the frequency of heart contractions.
Red Magic 8S Pro has a 6000 mAh battery with 80W charging support, the smartphone is fully charged in 25 minutes. However, the Red Magic 8S Pro+ version differs in that the battery capacity is 5000 mAh, but the charging power is twice as high: 165 watts. This smartphone is fully charged in 14 minutes.
The camera in gaming smartphones is traditionally not given much attention to, so the main sensor here is the Samsung S5KGN5 with a resolution of 50 MP. It is accompanied by an 8 and 2 MP sensors, there is no optical stabilization.
The Red Magic 8S Pro runs RedMagic OS 8.0 based on Android 13, which is specially optimized for gaming. The smoothness of the interface, compared to the previous model of the smartphone, has been increased by 30%.
